Ok, I agree kittens are cute. But past that I mean is putting kittens in your commercial actually going to sell a sub. I tried and tried, however I failed to see a correlation between a Kitten and a Sub. To me this commercial does the opposite of what is intended, it makes me not want to the sub. I could barely stand listening to that song once. 5-4-3,5-4-3,5-4-3…all right, all right, I GET IT. As gladly as I wouldn’t like to say I understand what the deal is, I can’t even understand what the kittens are actually saying. Also, the guy that created this commercial really needs to adapt to modern technology those kittens are NOT realistic. It looks at if like five minutes before the commercial went on air they were like, damn, it looks dull lets add some kittens. I would like to bring up another point, Why are the kittens inside the sub? I never knew that cat meet was an option when at Quiznos. What kind of advertisement campaign puts kittens in their product, I know that would not make me to eat it.
I guess I have a different train of thought than most American. This commercial when aired had top ratings. This shows a lot about out culture today. Simple things easily memorize us as Americans. I don’t know about you but I almost went death when I heard that song, with the all so creative lyrics. I’d like to end this blog with saying even though the commercial was effective, then kittens are very irrelevant.
